STRING BEAN JACK (Terrytoons/TCF-1938)

From 1938, here's the first-ever Terrytoons Technicolor entry, "String Bean Jack," a retelling of "Jack and the Beanstalk."  With music by Philip A. Scheib, this cartoon, a remake of the 1933 black-and-white cartoon "Beanstalk Jack," was produced by Paul Terry and directed by John Foster.



Theatrically released by 20th Century-Fox.
