Alec Wintering scored 19 points on Thursday night, three of them on the go-ahead bucket with 57 seconds remaining as the Portland Pilots (10-15 overall, 4-8 in WCC play) knocked off the home-standing Pepperdine Waves (14-9, 7-5) 73-70, this in spite of 27 points each from Jett Raines (a career high) and Stacy Davis (who grabbed 13 rebounds).
