BRONCOS TOP PANTHERS IN SUPER BOWL 50, WIN FIRST TITLE IN 17 YEARS; VON MILLER NAMED GAME MVP

At Santa Clara, California:

Von Miller, named the game's Most Valuable Player, forced two Cam Newton fumbles that set up two touchdowns (a first-quarter fumble recovery in the end zone by Malik Jackson and a fourth-quarter two-yard run by C.J. Anderson) while Peyton Manning, in what may have been his final game, picked up his 200th career regular and post-season victory as the Denver Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers 24-10 in Super Bowl 50, played on Sunday.

The Super Bowl title was the Broncos' third in franchise history, and the first in 17 years.
