Darlington Nagbe Helps Timbers Show Hoops Who's Boss

At Portland, Oregon:

A sensational goal from Darlington Nagbe in the 52nd minute on Saturday enabled the Portland Timbers to knock off Western Conference-leading FC Dallas 1-0 at home in Major League Soccer action.  The Timbers climbed within two points of the Hoops (who have the highest point total in MLS) in the conference standings.  The Timbers MLS-era club-record unbeaten streak has now reached 13 games (15 in all competitions).  Portland will visit the Los Angeles Galaxy on Wednesday night at the StubHub (former Home Depot) Center in Carson, California.
