NCAA Midwest: Wolverines, Jayhawks, Ducks Punch Tickets For KC

Eight games were played in the regional quarterfinal round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament on Sunday, with three of them contested in the Midwest Region.

At Banker's Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis:

Moe Wagner scored a career-high 26 points to help lead the eighth-seeded Michigan Wolverines (26-11) past the second-seeded Louisville Cardinals (25-9) 73-69.



At BOK Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma:

Josh Jackson scored 14 of his 23 points in the second half as the top-seeded Kansas Jayhawks (30-4) dominated the ninth-seeded Michigan State Spartans (20-15) 90-70.

Frank Mason III added to the Jayhawks' coffers by scoring 20 points.

Miles Bridges paced the Spartans with 22 points.



At Golden 1 Center, Sacramento, California:

Tyler Dorsey (who scored 27 points) delivered the game-winning three-point shot with 38.4 seconds remaining as the third-seeded Oregon Ducks (31-5) scored the last seven points of the game to upend the 11th-seeded Rhode Island Rams (25-10) 75-72.

Stanford Robinson paced URI (who saw their winning streak snapped at nine games) with 21 points.
