NCAA East: Baylor, Southern Cal, Duke Advance

Four Round-of-64 games in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament are set to be contested on Friday.

At BOK Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma:

Al Freeman came off the bench to score 21 points as the #3-seeded Baylor Bears (26-7) defeated the 14th-seeded New Mexico State Aggies (28-6) 91-73.

Ian Baker and Braxton Huggins each scored 19 points for the Aggies.



Elijah Stewart scored 22 points as the 11th-seeded Southern California Trojans (26-9) came from behind to upend the sixth-seeded Southern Methodist Mustangs (30-5) 66-65. 

Semi Ojeleye scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for SMU, whose winning streak was snapped at 16 games.



At Bon Secours Wellness Arena, Greenville, South Carolina:

Grayson Allen scored 21 points (15 of them on five three-pointers) while Jayson Tatum added 18 (to go with his 12 rebounds) as the second-seeded Duke Blue Devils (28-8) overpowered the fifteenth-seeded Troy Trojans (22-15) 87-65, ending the Alabama school's first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2003.

Sindarius Thornwell scored 29 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the seventh-seeded South Carolina Gamecocks (23-10), 44 years to the day after their most recent NCAA Tourney victory, downed the tenth-seeded Marquette Golden Eagles (19-13) 93-73. P.J. Dozier added 21 points (13 in the second half) to the Gamecocks' coffers.
