MLS Cup Playoffs: Jordan Rules As Sounders Hand Rapids First Home Defeat In Season To Advance To First-Ever MLS Cup Final

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Jordan Morris scored the only goal of the match in the 56th minute on Sunday as the Seattle Sounders defeated the Colorado Rapids 1-0 on the road in the second game of the Major League Soccer Western Conference Final and won their first-ever playoff conference championship 3-1 on aggregate.

The defeat was the first that the Rapids suffered at home this year in all competitions.

The Sounders will play in their first MLS Cup Final on Saturday, December 10 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time on FOX against the winner of the Toronto-Montreal series (with the Impact up 3-2 on aggregate).
