Lonzo Ball scored 18 points and dished out 11 assists while Thomas Welch contributed 16 points and 10 rebounds on Thursday night as the UCLA Bruins (5-0; #14 in the Associated Press poll, #13 in the USA Today/Coaches poll) dominated the Portland Pilots (3-1) 99-77 in the opening round of the Wooden Legacy tournament.
Jazz Johnson topped the Pilots with 25 points.
