The Oregon Ducks were ranked #5 in both the Associated Press (with one first-place vote; released on Monday) and USA Today/Coaches (with one first place vote; released on October 20) pre-season men's basketball polls.
There was no support for any of the Beaver State's three other men's Division I basketball programs (Oregon State [coming off their first NCAA tournament in 26 years], Portland, or Portland State).
