The Clemson Tigers, Alabama Crimson Tide, Michigan State Spartans, and Oklahoma Sooners have qualified for this season's College Football Playoff according to the final rankings that were released on Sunday.
Top-seeded Clemson will take on #4 Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl game at Miami in one national semifinal contest while second-ranked Alabama will battle #3 Michigan State in the Cotton Bowl at Arlington, Texas in the other semifinal. Both games will be contested on New Year's Eve.
The winners will face off at Glendale, Arizona for the national title on January 11.
The Stanford Cardinal, bound for the Rose Bowl against fifth-ranked Iowa, were the highest-ranked Pac-12 team at #6 (up one spot from last week), with the Oregon Ducks at #15 (up one), the Utah Runnin' Utes at #22 (up two), and the Southern California Trojans at #25 (down five).
