At Charlotte, North Carolina:
Quarterback Dak Prescott, named the game's Most Valuable Player, threw for a game-record 380 yards and four touchdowns on Wednesday as the Mississippi State Bulldogs (9-4) manhandled the North Carolina State Wolfpack (7-6) in the Belk Bowl played in soggy conditions.
The Bulldogs' QB, who also ran for 47 yards, joined Colin Kaepernick, Tim Tebow, and Dan LeFevour as the only players in Football Bowl Subdivision history to throw for more than 9,000 yards and run for more than 2,500 yards in a career.
