CFP Semifinal: Crimson Tide Way Too Much For Spartans In Cotton Bowl Blowout; Will Face Clemson For The Marbles In The Desert

Quarterback Jake Coker completed 25 of 30 yards for a career-best 286 yards and a pair of touchdowns to Calvin Ridley (who caught eight balls for 138 yards) on Thursday as the second-seeded Alabama Crimson Tide (13-1) destroyed the third-seeded Michigan State Spartans (12-2) 38-0 in the Cotton Bowl Classic, which was the College Football Playoff's second semifinal contest.

Heisman Trophy running back Derrick Henry ran for 75 yards and scored a pair of TDs for 'Bama.

The Crimson Tide will face the top-seeded Crimson Tigers in the National Championship Game on Monday, January 11 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona at 5:30 PM Pacific Time (ESPN).
