Drew Stanton Leads Cardinals Past Niners At Home To Stay Unbeaten

At Glendale, Arizona:

Backup quarterback Drew Stanton, playing in place of the injured Carson Palmer,  threw a pair of third-quarter touchdown passes to John Brown (24 and 21 yards) on Sunday as the Arizona Cardinals (3-0) defeated the visiting San Francisco 49ers (1-2) 23-14, outscoring the guests 17-0 in the second half as the Niners still have yet to score a second-half touchdown (or a fourth-quarter point) this season. Rookie placekicker Chandler Catanzaro kicked three field goals (51, 32, 35 yards) for the Cardinals.
