MLS Cup Playoffs: Dynamo Oust SC-Winning Red Bulls In OT; SKC Finish Off Revs In OT, Too; Houston and Kansas City Face Off In East Final


The quarterfinal round of the Major League Soccer Cup Playoffs continued on Wednesday with two games.

At Harrison, New Jersey:

Omar Cummings scored the series-winning overtime goal in the 104th minute as the Houston Dynamo who gained a 1-1 game-two road draw with the New York Red Bulls, won their two-match series against the Supporters' Shield winners 4-3 on aggregate.

At Kansas City, Kansas:

Claudio Bieler scored the series-winning overtime goal in the 113th minute as Sporting Kansas City overturned their 2-1 series-opening road defeat with a 2-1 game-two regulation win at home over the New England Revolution that forced the series (at 3-3 on aggregate) into overtime.  SKC finished off the Revs 4-3 on aggregate and will face Houston in the Eastern Conference two-game Final, which will start on Saturday in Houston at 11:30 AM Pacific Time (NBC).
