Joseph Young scored 24 points and grabbed five rebounds as the Oregon Ducks (ranked #19 in the Associated Press poll, #18 in the USA Today/Coaches' rankings) held off the Georgetown Hoyas 82-75 on Saturday (local time) at a Camp Humphreys, a US army base south of Seoul, South Korea, negating the Hoyas' Joshua Smith's 25-point performance. It was the regular-season opener for both schools.
