Ducks Back On Winning Track; Back Atop Pac-12 North

Marcus Mariota threw for 288 yards and three touchdowns on Saturday as the Oregon Ducks (#6 in the Bowl Championship Series standings; #6 in the Associated Press Poll, #7 in the USA Today/Coaches rankings; 9-1 overall, 6-1 in Pac-12 play) defeated the visiting Utah Runnin' Utes (4-6, 1-6) 44-21.

Thanks to Stanford's road defeat on Saturday night to Southern California, the Ducks have reclaimed sole possession of first place in the Pac-12 Conference's North Division.
