Running back Mohamed Ibrahim carried the ball 31 times for 224 yards and two touchdowns on Wednesday as the Minnesota Golden Gophers (7-6) dominated the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (7-6) 34-10 in the Quick Lane Bowl, ruining the swan song for Yellow Jackets' head football coach Phil Johnson.

Taxslayer Bowl: Yellow Jackets Sting Wildcats

At Jacksonville, Florida:

Dedrick Mills ran for a career-high 168 yards and a touchdown on Saturday as the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (9-4) downed the Kentucky Wildcats 33-18 (7-6) in the Taxslayer Bowl.

Capital One Orange Bowl: Yellow Jackets Too Much For MSU Bulldogs

At Miami:

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (11-3) defeated the Mississippi State Bulldgs (10-3) 49-34 in Wednesday's Capital One Orange Bowl.  Jackets quarterback Justin Thomas, named the game's Most Valuable Player, threw for 125 yards and a touchdown and ran for 121 yards and three additional scores.  Running back Synjyn Days ran for 171 yards and three more TDs (including a 69-yarder).

Music City Bowl: Bo Knows As Ole Miss Holds Off Georgia Tech

At Nashville:

Bo Wallace threw for 256 yards and a touchdown and ran for two more scores as the Ole Miss Rebels (8-5) won their sixth straight bowl game on Monday with a 25-17 victory over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (7-6) in the Music City Bowl.

Hyundai Sun Bowl: Yellow Jackets Sting Trojans

At El Paso, Texas:

Tevin Washington threw for a touchdown and ran for another as the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (7-7; they had to get a waiver from the NCAA to play in this bowl as they were 6-7) knocked off the demoralized Southern California Trojans (7-6) 21-7 in Monday's Hyundai Sun Bowl.

Sun Bowl: Utes Erase 14-Point Deficit And Take Out Jackets In OT

At El Paso, Texas:


Quarterback Jon Hays threw three touchdown passes, two in the fourth quarter (three yards to Kendrick Moeai, then 28 yards to DeVonte Christopher with 1:32 remaining), then John White ran eight yards in overtime for the game-winning score as the Utah Runnin' Utes (8-5) came back from down fourteen points to force overtime, then defeated the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (8-5) 30-27 in Saturday's Sun Bowl Game.

Falcons Down Yellow Jackets In Shreveport

At Shreveport, Louisiana:

Air Force (9-4) took advantage of George Tech (6-7) turnovers as the Falcons defeated the Yellow Jackets 14-7 in Monday's Independence Bowl.  Air Force cashed in when a Georgia Tech player muffed a punt in the second half.  Jared Tew ran for what turned out to be the game-winning touchdown for the Falcons. 

Hawkeyes Swat Yellow Jackets In Orange Bowl

At Miami:

Quarterback Ricky Stanzi threw for two early touchdowns as Iowa (11-2) downed Georgia Tech (11-3) 24-14 in Tuesday night's FedEx Orange Bowl.
