Stamps Stay Unbeaten At Riders' Expense In Regina

Quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell threw for three touchdowns on Saturday while Terry Williams ran back a punt 78 yards for another major score (which is what they call at TD in Canada, eh?) as the Calgary Stampeders (6-0) remained unbeaten in Canadian Football League play following their 34-22 road win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders (3-3).

In his final game in a Portland Timbers uniform (he was acquired by FC Cincinnati of the USL on Sunday for $850,000), Fanendo Adi scored the winning goal in the 80th minute as the Timbers stretched their Major League Soccer unbeaten streak to 14 games on Saturday with their 2-1 home win over the Houston Dynamo.
Sebastian Blanco also scored for Portland in the seventh minute.
Romell Quioto scored for the Dynamo at 12 minutes.
The Timbers' next match will be at home this coming Saturday night at 8:00 PM Pacific Time as Portland hosts the Philadelphia Union (telecast over the Timbers' TV network via KPDX-TV in Portland; streamed live over ESPN+).

Saphir Taider (23') and Matteo Mancosu (41') each scored once for the Impact.
