In Sunday's 106th edition of the Grey Cup Final, quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell (named the game's Most Valuable Player) threw two touchdown passes in the first half while Terry Williams ran back a punt a Grey Cup-record 97 yards for another score as the Calgary Stampeders won their first Canadian Football League title since 2014 (and eighth overall) by holding off the Ottawa REBLACKS 27-16.

Quarterback Zach Collaros completed 24 of 35 passes for 352 yards while kick Brett Lauther converted all five field goal attempts on Saturday as the Saskatchewan Roughriders (11-6) knocked off the Western Division-leading Calgary Stampeders (12-4) 29-24 on the road, all but securing a home Grey Cup Playoff date.

Quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell threw for three touchdowns on Saturday while Terry Williams ran back a punt 78 yards for another major score (which is what they call at TD in Canada, eh?) as the Calgary Stampeders (6-0) remained unbeaten in Canadian Football League play following their 34-22 road win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders (3-3).

ARGOS BATTLE BACK TO WIN FIRST GREY CUP TITLE SINCE 2012

At Ottawa:

In the 105th Grey Cup Final played on Sunday, Cassius Vaughn ran back a fumble 109 yards for the game-tying touchdown late in the fourth quarter while Lirim Hajrullahu kicked the game-winning field goal with 49 seconds remaining as the Toronto Argonauts came from behind to upend the Calgary Stampeders 27-24.

Matt Black intercepted a pass from Calgary quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell in the end zone to seal the Argos' first Grey Cup championship in five years.

Toronto quarterback Ricky Ray, who completed 19 of 32 passes for 297 yards and a touchdown, became the first starting QB to win four Grey Cups.

Riders Dominate Stamps In Calgary, Clinch Playoff Berth

At Calgary, Alberta:

In Friday Canadian Football League action, Duron Carter ran back an intercepted pass for a touchdown, leading the Saskatchewan Roughriders (9-7) to a decisive 30-7 road victory over the Calgary Stampeders (13-2-1).

With the victory, their first against Calgary in four years (thus ending the Stampders' 17-game home winning streak), the Riders qualified for the upcoming Grey Cup Playoffs.

This will be Saskatchewan's first postseason appearance since 2014.

Kicker Rene Paredes converted all five field-goal attempts on Sunday as the Calgary Stampeders (11-1-1) became the first club to clinch a berth in the upcoming Grey Cup Playoffs following their 15-9 Canadian Football League road win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders (6-6).

Running back Jerome Messam ran for 135 yards and a touchdown while quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell threw for 253 yards and two more scores on Saturday night as the Calgary Stampeders (3-1-1) defeated the visiting Saskatchewan Roughriders (1-3) 27-10 in Canadian Football League action.

Rene Paredas kicked a pair of field goals to add to the Stampeders' coffers.

REDBLACKS KNOCK OFF STAMPEDERS IN OT TO WIN FIRST GREY CUP TITLE; FIRST CHAMPIONSHIP FOR OTTAWA CLUB SINCE '76 ROUGH RIDERS; HENRY BURRIS NAMED GAME MVP

At Toronto:

Quarterback Henry Burris, named the game's Most Valuable Player, threw for 461 yards and two touchdowns, including the game winner in overtime to Ernest Jackson on Sunday as the Ottawa REDBLACKS, in only their third season of existence, knocked off the Calgary Stampeders 39-33 to win the 104th Grey Cup Final, their first, and the first for a club from the Canadian capital city since the Ottawa Rough Riders defeated the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the 1976 title game, which was also contested in Toronto.

REDBLACKS wide receiver Brad Sinopli who had six receptions for 94 yards and two TDs was named the game's Most Valuable Canadian.

102ND GREY CUP FINAL: STAMPS HOLD OFF TI-CATS FOR TITLE; BO LEVI MITCHELL NAMED GAME MVP

At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell (named the game's Most Valuable Player) completed 25 of 34 passes for 334 yards while Drew Tate ran for two touchdowns on Sunday as the Calgary Stampeders won their first Grey Cup title since 2008 by holding off the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 20-16 in the 102nd edition of the Canadian Football League's championship game.  The Ti-Cats had a chance to take the lead late in the fourth quarter, but Brandon Banks' punt return for a touchdown was called back due to a holding penalty.
