Timbers And LAFC Battle To Scoreless Stalemate That Stretches Portland's Unbeaten Runs

At Los Angeles:

The Portland Timbers stretched their Major League Soccer unbeaten streak to 12 games (14 in all competitions) on Sunday after holding the home-standing Los Angeles Football Club to a 0-0 stalemate.

LAFC would be reduced to ten men after Lee Nguyen was ejected in the 84th minute via the red card after his clumsy foul on the Timbers' Sebastian Blanco.

The Timbers' next match will be against the very same LA Football Club this Wednesday night in a US Cup quarterfinal match (7:30 PM Pacific Time, streamed live over timbers.com); Portland's next MLS contest is set to take place this coming Saturday night at home against the Montreal Impact (8:00 PM Pacific Time, telecast over the Timbers' broadcast network, with KPTV as the originating station).
