Holland Woods scored the game-winning putback in the final seconds while Deontae North notched 30 points on Saturday night as the Portland State Vikings (11-5 overall, 1-2 in Big Sky play) picked up their first conference victory of the season by knocking off the Idaho Vandals (10-6, 2-2) 73-72 on the road.
Victor Sanders paced the Vandals with 28 points.
