Pac-12 Tournament: Ducks Hold Off Cal Bears, Advance To Final For Shot At Zona (Who Defeat UCLA)

Both games in the semifinal round of the Pacific-12 Conference Men's Basketball Tournament were contested at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, near Las Vegas on Friday.

In the opener, Tyler Dorsey scored 23 points while Dylan Ennis scored on a critical three-point play with 22 seconds remaining as the top-seeded Oregon Ducks (29-4; #5 in both the Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches polls) held off the fifth-seeded California Golden Bears (21-12) 73-65.

Grant Mullins scored 23 points to pace the Bears, whose shot at an NCAA tournament berth, if it were on life support,  may likely have evaporated with the defeat.

In the nightcap, Lauri Markkanen scored 29 points while Allonzo Trier added 20 as the second-seeded Arizona Wildcats (29-4; #7 in both the AP and Coaches polls) knocked off the second-seeded UCLA Bruins (29-4; #3 in both the AP and Coaches polls) 86-75.

Isaac Hamilton led the Bruins with 20 points.
