At Albuquerque, New Mexico:
Richard McQuarley ran for a pair of touchdowns on Saturday as the New Mexico Lobos (9-4) defeated the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners (6-7) 23-20 in the New Mexico Bowl, the opening salvo of the 2016-17 College Football Bowl season.
The contest was the Roadrunners' first bowl game as a member of the Football Bowl Subdivision.
