Kendal Manuel scored 17 points on Wednesday night as the Oregon State Beavers (4-9) closed out non-conference play by going on a 27-8 second-half run as they stifled the visiting Kent State Golden Flashes (7-5) 69-50 to snap a five-game losing skid.
The Beavers will host unbeaten Southern California next Wednesday night as they open Pac-12 Conference play.
