Quarterback Ryan Higgins threw for 409 yards and four touchdowns (two apiece to Trent Taylor and Carlos Henderson) while Jonathan Barnes kicked a game-winning field goal from 32 yards out as the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (9-5) upended Navy (9-5) 48-45 in Friday's Armed Forces Bowl.
The Midshipmen, who tried to pick up consecutive ten-win seasons for the first time ever, instead, ended the season with three straight defeats (dropping the American Athletic Conference title game to Temple, then losing to Army for the first time since 2001).
