At Regina, Saskatchewan:
Running back Paris Cotton ran for 108 and caught a touchdown pass while fellow back Cameron Marshall ran for a TD and caught a pass for another score on Saturday as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers knocked off the Saskatchewan Roughriders 30-26 in the Canadian Football League regular-season opener for both clubs.
Not only did the Riders lose at home to the Bombers for the first time since 2004, they lost their starting quarterback Darian Durant for the season with a ruptured Achilles which he suffered in the first half.
