Fanendomania Returns As Timbers Bounce Back To Overpower Sounders In Cascadia Cup Clash

At Portland, Oregon:

Fanendo Adi scored twice in a two-minute stretch in the second half (74', 76') on Sunday as the Portland Timbers came back from their mid-weed embarrassment at the StubHub Center and dominated the visiting Seattle Sounds 4-1 in a Major League Soccer----and Cascadia Cup----contest.

Darlington Nagbe (12') and Rodney Wallace (90'+1) each added a goal to the Timbers' coffers.

Portland's next game is a US Open Cup Round-of-16 road clash with Real Salt Lake at Sandy, Utah on Wednesday (7:00 PM Pacific Time).

Next Sunday, the Timbers will host the San Jose Earthquakes in their next MLS encounter, which will start at 2:00 PM Pacific Time and will be televised by ESPN 2.
