Alec Martinez scored the winning goal at 5:47 of overtime as the Los Angeles Kings knocked out the defending Stanley Cup champions Chicago Blackhawks 5-4 on the road on Sunday in game seven of the Western Conference final. The Kings became the first time in NHL playoff history to win three game sevens on the road in the same year. Los Angeles will host the opening game of the Stanley Cup Final against the New York Rangers this coming Wednesday night.
