Fanendo Adi scored twice (36', 45') while Will Johnson successfully converted his team's first penalty kick of the season in the 73rd minute on Saturday night as the Portland Timbers racked up their third consecutive Major League Soccer road victory, 3-1 over Real Salt Lake, their first win over RSL in just over three years.
The Timbers will host FC Dallas in a nationally-televised contest this coming Wednesday (7:00 PM Pacific Time, ESPN2).
