36 Years And Counting: No Triple Crown Winner As Tonalist Wins Belmont Stakes; California Chrome Finished In Dead Heat For Fourth; Steve Coburn Foams At The Mouth

At Elmont, New York:

Tonalist , with jockey Joel Rosario aboard, overtook 27-1 shot Commissioner at the wire to win the 146th running of the Belmont Stakes on Saturday with Wicked Strong finishing third.  Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner California Chrome, who entered the race as a 4-5 favorite, became the 12th horse since 1978 to have won the first two legs of the Triple Crown but come up short in the Belmont, finishing in a dead heat for fourth place with Medal Count.
