Alamo Bowl: Horned Frogs Won Tight Battle With Cardinal In San Antonio
At San Antonio, Texas:
Quarterback Kenny Hill completed 27 of 40 passes for two touchdowns while he also ran for 60 yards and another score as the TCU Horned Frogs (#15 in the final College Football Playoff rankings; 11-3) edged out the Stanford Cardinal (#13 CFP; 9-5) 39-37 in Thursday's Alamo Bowl.

Quarterback Jacob Eason threw for 164 yards and two scores while Nick Chubb ran for 142 yards and another score on Friday as the Georgia Bulldogs (8-5) held off the TCU Horned Frogs (6-7) 31-23 in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.

Alamo Bowl: Horned Frogs Erase 31-Point Halftime Deficit, Knock Off Ducks In Triple Overtime

Quarterback Bram Kohlhausen, in place of the suspended Trevone Boykin, threw for 351 yards and accounted for four touchdowns, running for the game winner in the third overtime period as the Texas Christian Horned Frogs (#11 in the final College Football Playoff rankings; 11-2) came back from a 31-point deficit----equaling the biggest comeback in bowl history----and knocked off the Oregon Ducks (#15 CFP; 9-4) 47-41 in Saturday's Alamo Bowl game.
Quarterback Vernon Adams, Jr. led the Ducks to four first-half touchdowns but suffered an injury in the second quarter and did not return, taking Oregon's offensive prowess with him as the Ducks led 31-0 at halftime. The Ducks' second-half offensive performance looked like it originated from a morgue while the Frogs scored on all offensive possessions during that same second half.

CBI: Beaver Dominate TCU, Advance To Semifinal Round

Jared Cunningham scored 29 points, Angus Brandt 22, and Devon Collier 19 as the Oregon State Beavers (21-14) dominated the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs (18-15) 101-81 in a quarterfinal match in the College Basketball Invitational on Monday. The Beavers will take on Washington State at home on Thursday in a semifinal contest with the winner to face the Pittsburgh-Butler contest for the right to play in the best-of-three finals for the CBI title.

Quarterback Casey Pachall delivered a 42-yard touchdown pass to Skye Dawson with 4:26 remaining as the Texas Christian Horned Frogs (11-2; ranked #18 in the last regular-season BCS rankings) came from behind to upend the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (-85) 31-24 in Wednesday night's Poinsettia Bowl. The win was TCU's eighth in a row, ending the Bulldogs' seven game winning streak in the process.

Buckin' Broncos Top Frogs In Battle Of Unbeatens
At Glendale, Arizona:
In one of the two bowl games to match two unbeatens, Boise State (14-0) reached into its' bag of tricks again on Monday night as they defeated TCU (12-1) 17-10 in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. Brandyn Thompson ran back an interception 51 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter and running back Doug Martin ran for the winning touchdown from two yards out in the fourth quarter. That last score was made possible earlier in the Broncos' drive by a successful fake punt on fourth down as Kyle Brotzman (who also kicked a 40-yard field goal and both extra points) threw a completed pass to Kyle Efaw for 30 yards. The Broncos become only the second team in the history of top-flight college football to finish the season 14-0.
