The second round of the West Coast Conference basketball tournament took place with two games played on Thursday at Las Vegas:
Rashad Green and Angelo Caloiaro each scored 19 points as the San Francisco Dons (18-13), seeded fifth, never trailed as they dominated the eighth-seeded Portland Pilots (7-24) 87-66. The Dons will face Loyola Marymount on Friday.
Johnny Dee scored 30 points as sixth-seeded San Diego (13-17) rolled over number seven-seeded Pepperdine (10-19) 76-54, setting up a Friday showdown with third-seeded BYU.
