In the lone Sunday NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament East Regional contest, played at the Bridgestone Arena, Sean Kirkpatrick scored 18 points and Dion Dixon (whole the ball and dunked with 92 seconds remaining) added 15 as the sixth-seeded Cincinnati Bearcats (26-10) defeated the third-ranked Florida State Seminoles (25-10) 62-56 to advance to the regional semifinals in Boston, where they will take on Ohio State on Thursday.
