ALDS: Indians, Astros Win Again, Stretch Respective Series Leads To 2-0

Both American League divisional playoff series continued on Friday.

At Houston:

Carlos Correa homered, doubled, and drove in two runs as the Houston Astros again registered an 8-2 home win over the Boston Red Sox, this time in game two of their divisional playoff series.

The Astros, who lead the series two games to none, can finish off the Red Sox with a Sunday victory in Boston.

At Cleveland:

Yan Gomes singled home Austin Jackson from second base with nobody out in the thirteenth inning as the Cleveland Indians came back from a five-run deficit to upend the visiting New York Yankees 9-8 in game two of their divisional playoff series.

The Tribe, who lead the series two games to none, can finish off the Bronx Bombers with a game-three Sunday victory at Yankee Stadium.
