ALDS: BoSox, Yanks Stay Alive, Force Game Fours

Both American League divisional playoff series continued on Sunday.

At Boston:

A four-hit, three-RBI performance from Hanley Ramirez helped the Boston Red Sox crown the visiting Houston Astros 10-3 in game four of their divisional playoff series, thus avoiding elimination.

The Astros, who still lead the series two games to one, can advance to the American League Championship Series with a game-four win in Boston on Monday.

At New York:

Masahiro Tanaka pitched seven innings of shutout ball while Greg Bird hit a home run to produce the game's lone score in the seventh inning as the New York Yankees defeated the  Cleveland Indians 1-0 at home in game three of their divisional playoff series.

Aroldis Chapman produced a five-out save to preserve the victory and keep the Yankees alive in the series.

The Indians can still close out the Yanks with a game-four win in the Bronx on Monday.
