Grey Cup Playoffs: Ti-Cats Top Argos, Get Crack At REDBLACKS; Stamps Blast BC Lions, Get Shot At Eskimos

The Canadian Football League's Grey Cup Playoffs commenced on Sunday with two games.

EASTERN DIVISION:

At Hamilton, Ontario:

Justin Medlock kicked a 47-yard field goal with no time remaining as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats held off the visiting Toronto Argonauts 25-22 in an Eastern Division semifinal playoff.

The Ti-Cats will visit the Ottawa REDBLACKS in the East Division Final next Sunday.



WESTERN DIVISION:

Bo Levi Mitchell threw two touchdown passes to Eric Rogers as the Calgary Stampeders smothered the visiting British Columbia Lions 35-9 in the Western Division semifinal playoff.

Next Sunday, the Stampeders will visit the Edmonton Eskimos in the Western Division Final.
