The Clemson Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide kept the top two slots in the College Football Playoff rankings that were released on Tuesday with the Oklahoma Sooners and Iowa Hawkeyes moving to third and fourth place respectively, replacing Ohio State (who fell to #8) and Notre Dame (now at #6), with Michigan State now at #5.
The Stanford Cardinal, at #9, are the highest ranked Pac-12 team in the rankings, with the Oregon Ducks (who host the Civil War Game against the Oregon State Beavers on Friday) climbing up six spots to #17. The Washington State Cougars are at #20 and the UCLA Bruins at #22.
