Vernon Adams, Jr. threw for 407 yards and six touchdowns on Saturday as the Oregon Ducks (#23 in the College Football Playoff rankings; 8-3 overall, 6-2 in Pac-12 play) overpowered the visiting Southern California Trojans; #24 in CFP rakings; 7-4, 5-3) 48-28.
Despite the Ducks' fifth straight victory, their shot at winning the Pac-12's North Division title ended with Stanford's home win Saturday night over California-Berkeley.
