Quarterback Vernon Adams, Jr. threw three touchdown passes to Bralon Addison as the Oregon Ducks (#17 in the College Football Playoff rankings; 9-3 overall, 7-2 in Pac-12 play) held off several furious comeback attempts by the visiting Oregon State Beavers (2-10, 0-9) before capturing the 119th Civil War Game 52-42, their sixth win in a row and eighth straight in this series.
The Beavers, who trailed by 24 points at halftime but twice closed to within three points of the Ducks in the fourth quarter, suffered their ninth straight loss (their longest losing streak since 1995) and closed out their first winless in-conference campaign since 1997.
