Stanley Cup Playoffs: Simon Gagne OT Goal Keeps Flyers Alive; Jonathan Toews Power-Play Hat Trick Help Blackhawks Overpower Canucks For 3-0 Lead

The Stanley Cup Playoffs continued with two games on Friday.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Philadelphia:

Simon Gagne scored the game-winning goal at 14:40 of overtime as the Philadelphia Flyers defeated the Boston Bruins 5-4 at home in game four to stave off elimination from the conference semifinal series.  The Bruins still lead the series three games to one and can wrap it up with a win at home on Monday night. 

WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Vancouver, British Columbia:


The Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Vancouver Canucks 7-4 on the road in game four of their best-of-seven series to take a three-games-to-one lead.  The Hawks scored four goals on the power play---three of them by Jonathan Toews.
