Stanley Cup Playoffs: Flyers Top Habs To Reach First Cup Final Since '97

At Philadelphia:

Jeff Carter scored twice as the Philadelphia Flyers captured the Eastern Conference championship on Monday, defeating the visiting Montreal Canadiens 4-2 to win their conference final four games to two.  The Flyers advanced to their first Stanley Cup Final since 1997.  They will travel to Chicago for the opening game against the Blackhawks on Saturday.  The Flyers last won the Stanley Cup in 1975, the Blackhawks in 1961.
