Stanley Cup Playoffs: Bruins Take 3-0 Series Lead; Blackhawks Top Canucks To Go Up 2-1

Two games were played Wednesday in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Philadelphia:

Tuukka Rask stopped 34 of 35 shots while Blake Wheeler and Miroslav Satan scored 94 seconds apart in the first period as the Boston Bruins are on the cusp of reaching the final four for the first time since 1992 with a 4-1 road win over the Philadelphia Flyers in game three to lead their conference semifinal series three games to none.

WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Dustin Byfuglien scored a hat trick (two of the goals came on the power play) as the Chicago Blackhawks overpowered the Vancouver Cancuks 5-2 on the road in game three to take a two-games-to-one lead in their best-of-seven series.
