Stanley Cup Playoffs: Habs Come From Behind To Square Series At 2-2; Wings Roast Sharks To Stay Alive

Two games were played on Thursday as the Stanley Cup Playoffs continued.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Montreal:

 Third-period goals from Maxim Lapierre and Brian Gionta enabled the Montreal Canadiens to come from behind to defeat the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2 in game four and deadlock their conference semifinal series at two games apiece.

WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Detroit:

Johan Franzen scored four goals, including a natural hat trick during a span of 3:26 in the first period as the Detroit Red Wings averted elimination with a 7-1 home annihilation of the San Jose Sharks in game four.  The Sharks still lead the series three games to one with game five on Saturday in San Jose.
