NBA Playoffs: Spurs And Suns Advance To Conference Semis

Two games were played Thursday night as the NBA Playoffs continued.

WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At San Antonio:

Manu Ginobili scored 26 points, George Hill added 21, and Tim Duncan had 17 points to go with his 11 rebounds as the San Antonio Spurs eliminated the Dallas Mavericks with a 97-87 home win in game six, winning the series four games to two.

At Portland, Oregon:

Jason Richardson made five three-point baskets, accounting for 15 of his 28 points, while Amare Stoudemire added 22 as the Phoenix Suns defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 99-90 in game six, to win their conference quarterfinal series four games to two.  The Suns will host San Antonio Monday night for game one of their conference semifinal series.
