NBA Playoffs: Paul Pierce Buzzer Beater Put Celtics One Win Away From Advancing; Spurs and Jazz Take 2-1 Leads

Three games were played on Friday as the NBA Playoffs continued.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Miami:

Paul Pierce scored 32 points, two of them on the game-winning basket from 21 feet at the buzzer as the Boston Celtics took a commanding three-games-to-none lead in their conference quarterfinal series with a 100-98 road win over the Miami Heat. 

WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At San Antonio:


Tim Duncan scored 25 points and Tony Parker added 23 as the San Antonio Spurs took a two-games-to-one lead in their first-round series with a 94-90 win at home over the Dallas Mavericks.  This despite 35 points from Dallas' Dirk Nowitzki.


At Salt Lake City, Utah:


The Utah Jazz took a two-games-to-one advantage in their first-round series with a 105-93 win over the Denver Nuggets.  Deron Williams scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Paul Millsap had career highs of 22 points and 19 rebounds to lead the Jazz.
