In the lone Saturday Stanley Cup Playoff contest, Brad Richards and Michael Del Zotto each scored a goal while Henrik Lundqvist stopped 22 of 23 shots as the New York Rangers defeated the visiting Washington Capitals in game seven of their Eastern Conference semifinal series 2-1 to win the series four games to three. The Rangers will host the New Jersey Devils in the opening game of the Eastern Conference finals on Monday night.
