NBA Playoffs: 76ers, Celtics Square Respective Series; Lakers Hold Off Game Nuggets To Take 2-0 Series Lead

The NBA Playoffs continued with three games on Tuesday.


EASTERN CONFERENCE:


At Chicago:


Jrue Holiday scored 26 and Lou Williams added 20 as the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Derrick Rose-less Chicago Bulls 109-92 on the road in game two of their conference quarterfinal series, squaring their series at one game apiece.


At Atlanta:


Despite battling through a tough shooting night, Paul Pierce still scored 36 points as the Boston Celtics, minus the suspended Rajon Rondo, erased an 11-point second-half deficit and overcame the Atlanta Hawks 87-80 on the road in game two and evened their first round series at one game apiece.


WESTERN CONFERENCE:


At Los Angeles:


Kobe Bryant scored 38 points while Andrew Bynum added 27 as the Los Angeles Lakers outlasted the visiting Denver Nuggets 104-100 in game two of their conference quarterfinal series, giving the Lakers a two-game-to-none advantage.
