In the lone Tuesday Stanley Cup Playoff contest, Bryce Salvador, David Clarkson, and Ilya Kovalchuk each scored a goal while Martin Brodeur stopped 27 of 28 shots as the New Jersey Devils wrapped up their Eastern Conference semifinal series four-games-to-one following their 3-1 road win in game five over the Philadelphia Flyers. The Devils advanced to their first Eastern Conference Finals since 2003, the year New Jersey won their most recent Stanley Cup championship.
