In the opening contest of the 2017-18 FBS Bowl Season, quarterback Brandon Silvers completed 24 of 31 passes for 305 yards and four touchdowns on Saturday as the Troy Trojans (11-2) manhandled the North Texas Mean Green (9-5) 50-30 in the New Orleans Bowl.
