Beavers Break Open Tight Game in Second Half, Manhandle Not-So-Golden Lions

At Corvallis, Oregon:

Tres Tinkle and Drew Eubanks each scored 19 points on Saturday night as the Oregon State Beavers (6-3), who led by three points at halftime, dominated the second half and ended up smothering the visiting Arkansas Pine-Bluff Golden Lions (0-10) 85-58.

Travon Harper scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds before fouling out for the Golden Lions, who have now dropped 16 straight contests, the longest current losing streak in Division I.

The Beavers, who are now riding a four-game winning streak, have won six games, one more than they did all last season.
